We always want to do the most positive types of training available. However in a dog pack corrections happen and sometimes a correction is needed when rude behavior is displayed.
A correction can be hard eye, a low growl, time out, a scruff on the back of the dogs neck, a shoulder pinch or something else.
I do not believe in clicker training for basic obedience. Most dog owners do not have the timing that is needed for clicker training. When the dog becomes an adolescence the clicker is ignored when chasing the cat across the street.
Impulses control needs to be worked on at this time. In class we have a good time working on clear communication.
Do not take this class if you are not ready to learn and work on your dogs behavior..
