General Class Information
PARKING: Parking is tight be smart so others can have a space for their auto.
Week night classes you may park at the La Cumbre Feed Store and walk up the hill.
LOCATION: Classes are held at 680 Vista Vallejo, in Santa Barbara.

Coming from GOLETA – get off at the La Cumbre exit – turn left, driving over the freeway – take the first right onto Calle Real – passing the car lots, the freeway will be on your right – pass the La Cumbre Feed Store – turn left onto Vista Vallejo.

Coming from SANTA BARBARA – take the Las Positas Rd. exit – stay in the middle lane drive onto Calle Real – passing Earl Warren Show grounds on your right – the freeway is on your left – turn right onto Vista Vallejo before the La Cumbre Feed Store.

Turning onto Vista Vallejo – go past a row of mail boxes – turn into the first driveway on the right – the driveway is lined with palm trees – when you get to the top of the hill turn left and park.

A double gate will be unlocked on the far right of the house – enter and close the first gate before you open the 2nd gate.
TIMETABLE: Thursday class starting time is 6:30 pm. Late arrivals disrupts the class, please try to be prompt. The class is structured so that each session builds upon the previous week's class.
Make-up sessions are not available if you miss a class.
RAIN & CLASS CANCELLATION: If it is raining on any scheduled class day, please call 805-563-1299 to verify if class is cancelled or not. Any classes cancelled because of rain, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances will be made up. In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, an attempt will be made to notify you.
HOLIDAYS INCLUDE: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
VACCINATIONS: Current rabies vaccination is required for all dogs 4 months of age and older, (it's the law in the state of California). DHLP, Parvo, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Puppies should have their second set of vaccinations before entering classes. Other vaccinations should be given by your veterinarian at the recommended age.
LEASH LAW: Please keep your dog under control and on leash at all times except when doing off-leash work in class. Some dogs may be dog aggressive; socializing with other dogs on leash is highly discouraged in class. Puppies will have off leash play time. When on leash Please Keep your dog under control and next to you at all times.
AGGRESSIVE DOGS: Dogs with aggression towards people or other dogs will not be allowed to participate in class without prior approval. This means an in-home evaluation by the instructor before registration.
ILLNESS: If your dog is ill, please leave him at home, but do attend class yourself. If the dog is injured, please bring him to class only with his veterinarian's approval.
BITCHES IN HEAT: May attend class only if they are not a nuisance to other dogs and if they do not disrupt the class. Please inform the trainer at the start of class if your bitch is in heat. The trainer has the final decision as to whether your bitch is a disruption. Bitches must wear britches and no-mate spray.
CHILDREN: Children are welcome but must be kept under control at all times.
